Location: Prague, Czech Republic

About the Team: Join our dynamic IT hub in Prague as we embark on a multi-year project to build a cutting-edge risk and market data platform. Our team is dedicated to developing new functionalities in a microservice cloud-native architecture to meet the needs of our internal customers. We focus on data management functionalities, such as data cleansing, and establishing new interfaces to our risk calculation platform, which is being developed in parallel.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to support the functional and technical testing of our Risk Management System. You will work with a mix of self-developed, open-source, and commercial software. Our stringent requirements for complex functionality, high reliability, availability, latency, throughput, scalability, and operability will challenge your technical and testing skills, providing ample opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional and technical tests of the Risk Management System.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Utilize a variety of testing tools and methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution.

Desired Technical Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of two years of commercial experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Linux and command line.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with test automation of background applications.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Jira, X-Rays.
• Basic knowledge of financial markets (bonds, equities, interest rate swaps, futures, options).
• Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (GCP).
• Knowledge of Grafana.
