System Engineer – Zurich 

My client, a leading organization in the education sector, is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-performing ICT solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, ensuring the stability and efficiency of critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and implementing ICT system platforms
• Managing Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019)
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell
• Supporting and maintaining Microsoft IIS, AD, Exchange, SQL, VMware, and Citrix
• Managing and optimizing Azure and M365 cloud services
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive seamless IT operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• IT professional with EFZ training in system technology
• Minimum three years of hands-on experience in system engineering
• Proven expertise in system evaluation, migration, and implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality-driven approach
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Certifications in relevant technologies are advantageous
