Tester

• Linux (RedHat): Expert user skills and basic system administration.
• Database Languages: Proficiency in Oracle.
• Tools: Knowledge of Jenkins, JIRA, OpenShift, Git, GitHub, and UC4 Automic scheduler.

Additional Skills (Plus):

• Programming/Scripting: Apache Active MQ, Perl, Python, Java, PL-SQL, Groovy, bash scripting.
• DevOps Tools: Docker, Ansible, Artifactory.
• Monitoring and Messaging: Kibana, SWIFT Messaging Services (Alliance Access).
• Methodologies: Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

High-Level Task Description:

1. Functional and Technical Testing: Ensure main releases and fast-track changes are delivered into production.
2. Cloud Migration: Assist in migrating systems to the cloud.
3. Process and Monitor: Oversee Business Day operations in test environments.
4. Support: Aid development and business teams in investigating issues.
5. Issue Management: Log and follow up on functional and technical issues.
6. IT Ops Support: Help the IT Operations team implement changes in production.
7. Reporting: Provide consistent and clear updates to team members and management.
8. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements, task automation, and development of testing tools.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in testing, system administration, and a good understanding of various tools and methodologies.
