Senior Linux System Administrator

Geneva, Switzerland - 5 days a week on site

CHF 700 - CHF 800 per day

12 Months Contract

English required, French beneficial

You will work as a Linux System Admin for a bank in Geneva.

You must have experience in most of the following:

• Distributions ( e.g. Redhat, CentOS, Debian, etc)

• Scripting Bash or similar

• Version control systems (Git like tools/systems)

• Configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

• IaC (infrastructure as a code).

• File systems and sharing (ext4, nfs, s3 buckets, etc)

• System administration tasks (user management, file permissions, package management, system monitoring, etc)

• Network configurations (e.g. TCP/IB, DNS, DHCP, firewall setup etc)

• Security principles and best practices.

• Virtualizations (e.g. VMWare, KVM, etc) and containerization platforms (Docker and K8s)

• Backup principles, strategies and disaster recovery.

• Monitoring/logging tools.

• System troubleshooting.

• Performance tuning.
