I’m currently working with a leading bank in Luxembourg who are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join their growing IT team and play a key role in a major digital transformation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in cloud and data engineering while working with an innovative financial services company.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with Data Migration: Help transition an on-premises data warehouse to a cloud-based Data Lakehouse
• Data Quality: Apply best practices in data quality and governance to help maintain accurate and trustworthy data.
• Build and Maintain Data Pipelines: Contribute to the development and maintenance of data workflows and ETL processes to ensure smooth and reliable data operations.
• Optimise Data Pipelines: Support the optimisation of data pipelines for improved performance and scalability.
• Develop: Our client is looking to invest in the successful candidate by supporting with training and certifications to deepen your understanding and set you up for success and growth.

What We’re Looking For

• A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A motivated individual who is looking to kick-start their career in data engineering.
• Experience of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of data modelling and ETL processes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms
• Passion for IT and data engineering
• Programming understanding
• Fluency in English is required.
