Fund Accounting Pricing Analyst

  • On site in Luxembourg 
  • Contract position: 11 - 12 Months (Extendable)
  • Daily Rate: €550 - €600 depending on experience

Job Description

The team is responsible for the pricing policy and application to the funds and the incumbent of this role will support the team in responsibilities, which include:

  • Review and conduct quality assurance of financial instruments data by performing daily data quality checks and resolving exceptions.
  • Query management including questions and queries from clients, audit and internal teams; Act as contact point for escalated data queries or issues and coordinate change requests between clients, vendors and service providers.
  • Control of the accuracy of derivatives/OTC prices delivered by Service provider, ad hoc enrichment, and cross check on the set-up of securities. 
  • Researching and proposing new control methods within team on Derivative/OTC products
  • Implement and monitor service level agreements, control and oversight of supplier service performance on an ongoing basis to ensure that service providers adhere to the relevant data processes and procedures and that KPI reports reflect actual performance.
  • Maintain good relationship between diverse stakeholders including service provider, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Take initiative and lead to review current processes and propose changes to enhance controls and expertise in specific market products.

Skills / Experience:

  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent.
  • A first professional experience in banking, preferably in Instrument Pricing or valuation of different financial products
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organisation skills
  • Good working knowledge of range of financial products including derivatives.
  • Familiar with using data vendors to source and retrieve data advantageous. 
  • Strong communication skills, fluent English necessary.
  • Excellent desktop, IT and systems skills. Experience of GP3 advantageous. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential.
