Role Overview

Your area of work:
As Trading Test, we are responsible for ensuring high software quality of Trading Platform and Pricing Engine.

The Trading Test team supports the whole software delivery lifecycle from specification, technical design and implementation to go-live and maintenance.

We are looking for experienced functional test engineers, who are interested in working in a functionality-rich, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities:
•System Testing of Cash and Derivatives Trading Platform and Pricing Engine
•Review IT specifications and provide feedback to the Trading Functionality team
•Test case design and test data definition as well as test execution per functional specifications
•Back-End and Front-End test case automation using an in-house automation tool, python, selenium and BDD test framework
•Defect analysis, reporting and retesting
•Close collaboration with specification and build teams as well as business stakeholders to verify expectations and test findings
•Maintain and update automated test suites (regression test portfolio) with new functional requirements

Your profile:
•University degree, preferably in Economics, (Financial) Mathematics, Computer Science or any other quantitative discipline
•2+ years of test automation experience, preferably using python and/or BDD test frameworks
•Scripting experience, preferably in Python, Selenium and Shell
•User level experience with a Linux operating system
•Knowledge of cash and derivatives trading, in addition to options pricing models strongly preferred
•Experience with GitHub, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) is of advantage
•Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL) is of advantage
•Willingness to learn in addition to identify, drive and implement potential improvements
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Strong communication skills in a distributed working environment
•Ability to manage multiple project priorities, deadlines and deliverables simultaneously
•Fluent English, German is beneficial
