Senior Full Stack Java Developer

My client, a leading financial services organisation in Luxembourg, are looking to add an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to their team. The Senior Full Stack Java Developer will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, both front end and backend developer, ensuring the delivery of effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a senior/ lead developer across a variety of projects related to the banking sector including client onboarding and data quality.
• Contribute to the implementation and ongoing enhancement of CI/CT/CD practices and toolchains for secure and efficient code integration, software delivery, and environment management
• Collaborate with Business/System Analysts to define requirements, conduct system analysis, and design solutions
• Identify and manage technical dependencies
• Incorporate non-functional requirements (NFRs) into development work
• Design and implement software solutions that follow industry best practices, covering areas such as application architecture, enterprise integration, performance, and information security
• Implement and automate unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality code

• Take a proactive approach in exploring and adopting new tools and improved methods for software development and system integration
• Work towards enhancing IT operations related to software delivery

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer/equivalent position
• Proficiency in the following technologies:
  • Java (Spring Boot/MVC, JavaEE - JBoss, WebSphere)
  • React
  • TypreScript
  • Build/packaging tools
  • CI/CD tools
• Strong communication skills in English (fluency in German or French is a plus)
• Expertise in system analysis, solution design, technical specifications, data modelling, and enterprise integration patterns
• Practical experience in quality assurance and test automation
• Familiarity with both traditional and Agile project management methodologies and tools
