Financial Software Engineer- C++ Developer
My client are seeking a skilled C++ developer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of their server software. In this role, you will work with C++17 (or newer) and engage with complex customer requirements in the financial sector, designing and implementing effective solutions.
Their development team consists of eight passionate engineers, located in both Romania and Switzerland. They are a diverse group, united by their commitment to innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape the Future: Contribute to the evolution of their products.
Feature Development: Collaborate on the functional specifications of new features.
Industry Knowledge: Expand your expertise in the fund and asset management industry.
Technical Excellence: Analyze, specify, implement, maintain, and develop tests for their software.
Consultation: Advise departments on feasibility and propose effective solutions.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including development, business analysis, and consulting.
Quality Assurance: Conduct code and design reviews.
Your Expertise:
Financial Knowledge: Experience in finance, especially in Order Management & Settlement, is preferred.
Certifications: Finance certifications such as CFA, CIMA, or equivalent are a plus.
Education: Higher education in computer science (e.g., university degree) or equivalent experience in software development.
Independent Work: Ability to work independently and participate in decision-making processes within a flat hierarchical structure.
Quality Focus: Passion for developing high-quality code and automated tests.
Team Player: Agile mindset and strong teamwork skills.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Linux, git, CMake, Boost, and container technologies is advantageous.
