Job Title: Information Technology - IT Project Manager
- Luxembourg: full time on site for first 2/3 months, then 2 days WFH a week thereafter
- 6 Month extendable contract

Job Description:
- Tech Project Manager to be responsible for leading project team(s) through App Transformation/Upgrade process, as part of a Datacentre remediation exercise.
- This is to include management of discovery and application dependency mapping, all aspects of technical design, build & testing, and upgrade/migration execution.
- You will interface with senior project sponsors, project managers, developers, business analysts, engineers, operational teams, vendors and the end customer.
- You will be expected to follow the standard PPM framework, which includes progress tracking, reporting and budgeting.
Tech Project Manager should possess the following skills/experience:
- Strong experience in managing projects focused on App transformations & Data Centre server migrations
- Understanding of App transformation strategies (in-situ upgrades vs build of parallel run environments, etc)
- Understanding of Security issues (Vulnerability Scanning) and the related infrastructural work needed to fix them
- Demonstrate full project lifecycle experience, taking projects from the concept/inception phase right through to final delivery, including operational readiness
- Manage cross-functional teams across business and IT to ensure effective communication, understanding & delivery of all migrations
- Experience of managing multiple concurrent complex workstreams using both Waterfall and Agile
- Proven problem management and resolution skills essential
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to build, manage and motivate project teams
- Be able to demonstrate strong management of external third party vendors and/or outsourced service providers
- Work with Infrastructure Leads, App Dev Leads, Business Partners, Project Managers and Service Managers to ensure buy in and support for business change
- In-depth understanding of enterprise service management concepts (ITIL)
- Ability to understand business processes and use of data
Key duties include:
- Responsible for managing assigned project(s) to ensure adherence to timeline, budget, scope & quality (within agreed tolerances)
- Preparation of core project documentation/artefacts and maintenance of portfolio level plans including associated resourcing plans
- Adhering to the NT program/project lifecycle including maintenance of detailed project plans, project brief, RAID log, financial management and regular stakeholder reporting
- Chairing and attending project working and steering groups, presenting progress, financial status, RAID log and decision points
- Develop Tech strategy, approach and implementation plans to achieve necessary business outcomes
- Extensive stakeholder management (primarily split between Europe, UK and Chicago)
- Identifies, tracks and manages project/program level risks and issues. Serves as escalation point to resolve project/program issues, remove roadblocks, formulate contingency plans and communicate status to Program’s Exec Leadership team
- Coordination of internal teams, 3rd party partners and suppliers where they are involved in project and service delivery
