Test Engineer

Duration: 6 months (extendable)

Start Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of new application functionalities.
• Identify and document bugs and inconsistencies with a keen eye for detail.
• Analyse complex systems to foresee potential issues.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to communicate findings.
• Create clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• General financial knowledge about positions.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in teams; knowledge of JIRA and Xray test management is a plus.
• Proactive and self-starting attitude.
• Organizational skills, especially in documentation and time management.
• Some knowledge of SQL is beneficial for validating test cases.
• Proficiency in French is preferred as all stakeholders are French speakers.
