Systems Engineer

Mission:

• Prepare, validate, and install software on Windows Endpoints.
• Oversee the life cycle management of OS images for Windows PCs within our IT fleet.
• Manage and deploy desktop operating system upgrades.
• Serve as the technical expert for Windows images and core applications.
• Evaluate and test software and driver compatibility on new hardware.
• Assist in the validation and acceptance of master images, GPOs, and parameter changes.
• Continuously patch and update OS and applications across the network.
• Contribute to the evolution and security of endpoints.
• Provide third-level support for all issues related to the managed platform.

Soft Skills:

• Proficient in writing documentation and transferring knowledge.
• Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish is a plus.

Essential Skills:

• Expert-level knowledge of Windows 10 with practical, day-to-day enterprise experience.
• Expertise in OS installation and customization, including drivers.
• Proficient in Microsoft GPOs and Windows OS registry management.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for the Windows OS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in PowerShell.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MECM/SCCM.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Intune.
• Understanding of secure environments.

Complementary Skills:

The following skills are considered advantageous but optional:
• Knowledge of Windows 11.
• Experience with software packaging.
• Familiarity with VMware Horizon Golden Image.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applocker/Bitlocker.
• Understanding of Microsoft environment security and cybersecurity practices.
