We’re working with a small team of 10 Avaloq developers at a UK bank looking for a new team member. You will take requirements, break them down, and deliver solutions. From small changes like updating reports and changing work flows; to larger projects like cross border payments migration and electronic onboarding.

Compared to the larger banks, you’ll have a wider range of requests and topics; people know who you are so you can make a great name for yourself; and you’ll work closely with senior members of the business.

If you hit the ground running, there are opportunities to move up to line management or be recognised for your work with salary increases. But generally as it’s a flat hierarchy in the team your core duties will remain the same.

You get a bonus twice yearly, independence to work at your pace, and the opportunity for full remote working if you have the right experience. As the bank doesn’t hire frequently, having the right character join is key.
