Fund Accountant with Multifonds



We are seeking a highly experienced Fund Accounting & Multifonds Specialist to join our team in Luxembourg for a long-term mission. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Fund Accounting, with deep expertise in Multifonds, and significant experience in business analysis (BA) and business process management (BPM), particularly within the context of migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:



Fund Accounting Expertise:


- Lead and manage Fund Accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the Fund Accounting team, leveraging deep knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Multifonds Expertise:


- Act as the subject matter expert on Multifonds, managing and optimizing its use across the organization.
- Develop and implement best practices for Multifonds, ensuring efficient and effective system utilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the Multifonds system, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Business Analysis & Process Management:


- Lead business analysis (BA) efforts related to Fund Accounting operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive business process management (BPM) initiatives, particularly in the context of system migrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable plans.

Migration Projects:


- Play a key role in migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Develop migration strategies, plans, and timelines, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor and report on migration progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.

Key Qualifications:



Experience:


- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Fund Accounting, with a strong focus on Multifonds.
- Proven experience in business analysis (BA) and business process management (BPM), particularly in migration projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounting operations and lead large-scale projects.

Technical Skills:


- In-depth knowledge of Multifonds, with hands-on experience in system optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Fund Accounting principles and practices, with the ability to provide technical guidance to teams.
- Proficiency in business analysis and process management tools and methodologies.

Educational Requirements:



- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) are highly desirable.
