Senior Fiduciary Accountant
Your responsibilities:
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
• Bookkeeping Oversight: Oversee and manage all day-to-day bookkeeping activities for your clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and periodic reports, providing clients with clear insights into their financial health.
• Tax Compliance: Handle the preparation of periodic and annual VAT returns, calculate tax provisions, and prepare direct tax returns.
• Client Advisory: Utilize your expertise to advise clients on specific financial queries, offering tailored solutions.
• Innovation and Process Improvement: Collaborate on implementing new technology solutions to enhance clients' operating models.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with clients' management, finance teams, and auditors to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm’s client base.
Your Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in
a fiduciary or service provider firm.
• Industry Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing commercial companies, with strong knowledge of accounting, income tax, and VAT regulations.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in managing and coaching a team, with the ability to inspire and guide others.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, with the flexibility to adapt and meet strict deadlines.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in IT, with knowledge of BOB 50 being an advantage.
• Team Commitment: A commitment to sharing knowledge and expertise with your team.
• Language Skills: Fluent in French with a strong command of English.
