My client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (C++) to join their talented team and drive the continuous development of their cutting-edge software financial product. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative solutions and collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers.

What You’ll Do:

• Take a lead role in the design and development of server applications using modern C++ (C++17/20).
• Refactor, optimize, and maintain in-house database and technical layers.
• Implement complex features and modules with a focus on high quality.
• Conduct deep technical performance analysis and debugging.
• Lead code and design reviews to ensure the highest standards of software quality.
• Provide technical support during the deployment of changes.
• Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams.

Ideally They Are Looking For:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20), with advanced skills in template metaprogramming and object-oriented design.
• Solid knowledge of database technologies (Oracle & PostgreSQL) and strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL) and container technologies (Docker/Podman).
• A passion for high-quality software development with a focus on performance, reliability, and automation of tests.
• Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
• An interest in the finance and banking sector is a plus.
