C++ Developer, (Prague or Luxembourg)

Our client within the financials markets requires a C++ Developer for a long term contract role.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

Engage in a wide range of development activities, including but not limited to:
Expertise in swift asset servicing messaging (ISO15022 / ISO20022)
Provide technical designs and solutions to meet business needs
Implement technical designs with a focus on security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and application decoupling
Plan, organize, and support all activities related to the software lifecycle, including deliverables, resourcing, interactions with all project stakeholders, and management of priorities and risks/opportunities
Ensure compliance with internal and external standards applicable to the design, development, and documentation of solutions

Qualifications/Required Skills:

University degree (master or diploma) in IT
3-5 years of practical experience in DevOps-oriented programming in C++, relational databases, SQL, Linux scripts, GitHub, messaging (JMS, AMQ), and XML processing
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand, structure, and explain complex topics to various audiences
Strong focus on teamwork
Strong communication skills
Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work across several development streams
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Experience in C++ application profiling is an added asset
