I’ve been with the company pretty much since it started, just over 14 years ago. I started out just loading and formatting CV’s, then moved into a resourcer role for many years before finally being convinced to move into Account Management. This has enabled me to get really close to my clients, to understand their business and deliver to them with honesty and integrity.
All this has been done working part time from home, whilst raising my family. With my children now being slightly older I have the flexibility to work longer hours and try and come into the office when necessary.
Although working from home can sometimes be lonely, (just me and my dogs), I have always been one of the team and when I come into the office I always know that everyone is going to be welcoming. The office has such a great atmosphere, supportive and fun. If ever I need advice or support there is always someone to turn to.
Skillfinder International has always been a team led company, they offer fantastic (and achievable) incentives that has seen me winning trips to Las Vegas, Miami, Ibiza many times and skiing. They often have great offsite afternoons for all the staff which have included bowling, darts and a trip to Brighton.
To be successful at Skillfinder International you need to be a go-getter, not just waiting to be told what to do but going out there and finding the roles. You need to be a team player and share the glory and I think this is the case for everyone who works here.
